"I think we'll be okay here, Leon" - ink, watercolor, and gouache on paper - 14" x 10"

This piece is for a show coming up in a couple weeks – Gallery 1988's annual Crazy 4 Cult show, featuring artists' interpretations of classic cult movies. My piece is inspired by one of my favorite movies, "The Professional." I'm pretty stoked for this show, and it's the first one of these that I might actually be able to catch down in LA!

Here are the details: (If you're on my mailing list, I'll be recapping this in an email soon)

"Life" - ink, watercolor, and gouache on paper - 12" x 14"

It's been a while since I painted with this technique, I like how it turned out!

So this piece is actually a submission to a contest on "Stuff No One Told Me" – a great blog by an extremely talented artist and illustrator, Alex Noriega. He posts illustrated words of wisdom on topics of life, love and design. Check out his stuff, it's great.
