"Green Triptych" - ink and watercolor on paper - 2" x 8" each
Whoo, it's been a busy weekend. 9 mile hike in Muir Woods, dinner with visiting family, drinking, partying, and painting!
I went a bit nuts and painted three things today ( i posted them as today, yesterday, and the day before). I had sketch book entries for the other days, but I liked these so much I figured I'd give them more face time.
But yes. I enjoy doing triptychs. And the new style of mountains is suiting me just fine.
Cheers!

October 12, 2009 at 8:50 AMWow I love this triptych. I had an immediate connection to it. Reminds me gently of the beautiful scene in mononoke hime when they meet the tree spirits.
