"Dragonfly"
"Dragonfly" - ink and watercolor on paper - 7" x 10"
Late night tonight. This guy was tenacious - I painted him a more colorful page to swim in, but he still didn't want me to stop drawing! So I drew more and more until I finally reached a point where I said "Screw it. I'm done with you!" And so I was.
Okay, it's probably time to sleep.

Haha, that's really cool (but yes get some sleep).
I was wondering, do you ever think up stories to go with your drawings? You've got a really intense, unique style. It'd be cool to see an illustrated story or two :) (or maybe you could find a friend to collab with who likes stories!)
The reason I ask is your art reminds me of a kind of fusion between some of MirageCat from Sheezyart(Example here http://art3.server05.sheezyart.com/image/167/1676409.jpg) and Arcipello in Devart (http://arcipello.deviantart.com/)
And maaaybe a little bit of Shaun Tan's The Rabbits (http://www.shauntan.net/books/the-rabbits.html)
:(
That was overload. I am sorry.
I am at work and being completely irresponsible.

Yep, I have thought about doing more sequential work -- it's just a matter of picking a story and fleshing it out.
Most of the time I just come home from work and just paint whatever's on my mind as a way to wind down... so I'd have to think about it.
=) If I do, it would show up here.
