I really like this one a lot =). Drew this at Edinburgh Castle (pub) on trivia night. Our team didn't do so well, but it was fun!
Also, my book is off to the printers! Hopefully I'll get my first proof next week.

This is a rather old piece, and actually the beginning of a new direction in my work -- I never really liked it before, but today as I was cleaning out my old artwork I came across it. . . it looks nicer to me now than it did at the time I was painting it =).

It's pretty amazing how much difference 45 minutes makes. When leaving San Francisco, it's windy and foggy, but after twenty minutes of driving south, the sun suddenly comes out, the sky is clear, and you're in a completely different climate. By the time we reached Cupertino, the jackets came off, the shades were on, windows were open, and spirits were up.
=) Another reason I like working at Apple.

Yay Weddings
Cheating a bit on the post time & date for this one -- it's actually ~ 2:45 AM Saturday morning, but I just got back from the wedding now =).
Good times!! Today was long and exhausting, but everything went off without a hitch. My friend went all out with her bridesmaids and husband -- performing extra choreographed dances throughout the reception. Definitely anything but a standard vanilla wedding!
It was also great to see some old friends that I haven't seen since high school -- catch up with them and see what's going on with their lives.
Seems like what most people wanted to talk about was my upcoming position at Apple though. Ha, so many Mac fan-boys all over the US.

Just got back from rehearsing some music for the wedding tomorrow. I'll be accompanying the bridesmaids in a song during the ceremony. My friend's daughter is so big now! And she likes me! Hurray for babies not crying the instant they see me =).
Also, hurray for still being able to read music and play piano decently. Hopefully I won't embarrass myself tomorrow =P.

Ah, home. . . steamy, steamy home. Managed to sleep twelve hours last night without coughing to death (i'm sick, boo.), so that was nice.
Seeing family and old friends + delicious home cooking - work = happy larry =).
I have decided that in the event that I do not have the time or resources to draw something new every day, then the second option would be to post a drawing that I have not shown on here or my art site. Hahaha, sweet, sweet compromise. . . the lazy man's euphemism for procrastination. . .
So here's something I drew a while ago. Good thing I have my iPod on me, so I have all my old artwork available =).
