Finally, I've finished this piece! Will be adding it to suckatlife.com soon, once I finish cleaning it up and taking better pictures. It took a long time to complete, but I'm happy with the results =). Good times.

Got a fancy new brush pen (meant for Chinese calligraphy) and some fancy rice paper boards! After some experimenting, this is what I came up with.

Busy, busy day. The Steve gave us the week off, so I'm going to try to take advantage of this break as much as I can =). So many errands and things to work on, things that have been on different to -do lists and merely migrated from one to the other without getting done... Well this is the week!

Octopus

I really like this one! I may turn it into something bigger... Too bad I was so pissed and unhappy when drawing it.
My flight to San Francisco was delayed by two hours, so instead of arriving at 10pm, it would arrive at 12:20am. This meant that I would miss the last BART home, meaning I'd have to fork over a ton of money to a cab to get home. So I managed to fly standby to Oakland an hour earlier-- but since that plane was delayed, and they had to check my bag, I still managed to just barely get on the last BART home.
I got home at 1:30am and was quite tired. 17 hours on the road -- indianapolis to naperville to midway to oakland to san francisco to home... ah well.
Posting this late, since I just got back from my trip.

Wedding Day!! Everything went off without a hitch -- the ceremony was beautiful, the reception was fun, groom was nervous but survived. I didn't have time to draw anything, so here's something from the night before.

Friday was a good day too -- after some recovery time from the bachelor party, we all had errands to run -- tuxes to try on, rentals to pick up, speeches to practice, weddings to rehearse, work to do, etc. I managed to get some more drawings done, but I like this one the most. We went to The Claddagh for the rehearsal dinner, and this is what I drew on one of their menus.

Today was more traveling -- train to Union Station in Chicago, driving to Indiana, etc. Then hit the driving range with the guys, and had copious amounts of beer at the bachelor party. Really great to see the guys again =), it's been a long time.
