Big big big weekend!

Fun times this weekend =)

Friday night I got my t-shirts, they looked great, and are now officially on sale here.

Then to celebrate, went out to sing KTV with some friends.

Yesterday was a long long day, but really good -- Noon to six was a comics / zine expo, my first ever. Really cool, I met a ton of great people, sold some books, and learned a lot about the fine art of balancing art and work.

Here's some of the swag I got -- some really great stuff by Ben Seto and Toshiko Kamiyama =)


After the expo, there were performances, music, and drinking (of course) -- awesome stuff, awesome time, a bunch of friends came out, I was happy!

And here's a detail view of something I've been working on for a while... hopefully it'll be done soon!

Late Post

Here's a piece from last year -- a digital piece from a series I did on the seven deadly sins.

Posting this from work... busy night last night, so didn't get to it. Will be showing the first 'robots and monsters' charity piece i completed soon though!

Prints + Dragonboats!

These are the prints we made today -- it was at a workshop that's part of Kearny Street Workshop's APAture festival. The instructor was Patricia Wakida, and the whole process was amazing! It took me back to the days of industrial design studio -- endless nights spent working on the tiny little details of a model. A bit obsessive, but hey, I like that =).


Close up of my cut linoleum block and a couple prints pulled from it. Yeah! I need to go buy some ink and rollers and things now... (and some linoleum blocks...)


I also went to dragon boat races today. Good times -- my friend Jane's team placed in the finals!


Lastly, here's a picture of the sunrise from my apartment. I found this picture on my phone and figured i might as well post it sooner or later. So here it is.

Today was my birthday. One more day. . . but now I'm officially in my mid twenties. A bit scary, but ah well. It happens.

APAture 2007 Gallery Opening and kickoff!!

It was awesome! So many people, so much exposure, so many nice comments about my work =) It was a good night.

There were a ton of people there -- 3 floors of art!
