Nessie
Nessie - ink, watercolor and gouache on paper - 10" x 7"
Today was a sick day from work... but I was still somewhat productive. Finished up this green piece from a few days back, I guess maybe it's Nessie's ghost?
Back to work tomorrow though! All play and no work makes Lawrence a big dork. (I know I know, it's near rhyme. But I'm no poet. Deal.)

Cool painting man, I always have trouble doing the transparent objects in gouache...ie water, glass, gelatin typed creatures, etc......got any tips? Feel free to check out my gouache on my blog...
Keep up the good work man,

February 16, 2010 at 5:53 AMThanks, glad you like it! I wouldn't say i'm very good at painting transparent things either... mostly just try stuff out and see if it works.
Checked out your blog, love the figure studies! Very energetic.

February 16, 2010 at 11:55 AMThats really pretty.
I love the background and the water especially.
You are, by a far margin, my favorite artist.
Personally, I've never used gouache.
And I can hardly spell it. :D

February 17, 2010 at 8:54 PMI love your work so much. I stumbled upon your website a few months ago and bookmarked it on my computer, then my computer crashed so I lost it. I just spent the last 3 days searching the internet for your site and I finally found it! I jumped up and danced.
Your work is amazing. Keep it up.
