Emerge
"Emerge" - ink, watercolor and gouache on paper - 12" x 9"
I was just experimenting with textures, and it kind of formed into this crazy froth monster... and then a little guy showed up.
It's been a good weekend -- framed and shipped off pieces for two shows coming up. One in San Francisco, and one in Los Angeles. I'll have a separate post with more details soon!

just wondering, why'd you stop showing the tabletop background with your paintings? it made your pieces more tangible--a very appealing effect. :)

May 10, 2010 at 10:42 AMThanks guys, glad you like it?
I haven't been doing the tabletop background lately because these recent pieces are a bit busier... and including the tabletop would just make everything get lost in the noise. I like that effect though, definitely =)
